Corporation (AWC); located in Wilmington,

Founded in 1988, AWC been recognized with
several Quality, Delivery and Productivity

automotive customers with quality products
at a competitive price.
To meet this high level of quality and
service, AWC uses GAGEtrak Calibration
Management Software to manage, track and
calibrate over three thousand various gages,
instruments and pieces of test equipment
with many thousands of calibrations
scheduled every year.

Trimble, AWC’s primary user of GAGEtrak,
found GAGEtrak in place when he began
with AWC over 10 years ago and has used
the software ever since. Trimble notes
that GAGEtrak was originally selected,
and later upgraded as the preferred
software as it “offered everything we
needed to accurately track our many
calibrations…flexibility, individuality,
reports, data collection and
retrieval....all of it”.
Key areas where GAGEtrak has helped
Trimble and AWC are data tracking and
accuracy. “Time savings is immense and
critical. Data retrieval capabilities
are very good. Our TS audits are a
breeze with all the calibration data at
our fingertips.” says Trimble.
Specifically, Trimble’s favorite feature
is GAGEtrak’s day-to-day tracking, “I
have complete trust in the daily
‘Calibration Due’ list. It is a key
factor in my day-to-day planning.”
While
Trimble is waiting on an available
regional training class close to his
location, he has had great success with
CyberMetrics support team, commenting
that “Product support is outstanding.”
In
addition to training and support,
CyberMetrics offers several add-on
products to compliment GAGEtrak,
including a GAGEtrak Calibration Label
Kit used by Ahresty that includes a
special laminated label printer,
connecting cables, software drivers and
label design utility. Ahresty has also
used CyberMetrics’ SUPPLIERtrak Supplier
Quality Assurance Software to track,
analyze and monitor the company’s
suppliers by maintaining a database of
suppliers and the parts they supply.
While
AWC uses the standard desktop version,
GAGEtrak is also available in a
client/server edition for supporting MS
SQL Server databases. Because Ahresty
has taken advantage of GAGEtrak’s
Maintenance and Support agreements, they
were provided with product updates and
discounted product upgrades over the
past 10 years allowing them to
continuously run the most recent product
versions.
With
a goal of becoming the world’s leading
