GAGEtrak FAQ

GAGEtrak - The World's leading calibration management software

Why does GAGEtrak have all of these calibration frequencies? Aren’t 365 Days, 52 Weeks, 12 Months and 1 Years all the same?

Not exactly. 365 Days will calculate a next due date exactly 365 days later. To see how this works, it is interesting to use an example from a leap year. If a calibration was performed on 1/20/2012, the next due date will be 1/19/2013. If the calibration was performed on 1/20/2011 (not a leap year), the next due date will be 1/20/2013. Whether it is a leap year or not, the 1 Years calibration frequency will make the gage due for calibration one year later on the same day of the month. 52 Weeks is the same as 7 Days X 52, or 364 days. 12 Months will calculate the next due date one year later on the same day of the month.
