What’s New in FaciliWorks 6

FaciliWorks Version 6 contains many new features designed to help you more easily and effectively manage your maintenance program.

FaciliWorks offers many new features designed to tailor the program to suit your needs exactly.

  • Custom Report Editor makes it easy to modify any pareto chart, report or label in FaciliWorks—or create your own.
  • Electronic Signatures help you meet record-keeping requirements for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and other quality system requirements. This feature of our maintenance management software lets you approve records under a secure system without a paper based audit trail.
  • Fleet Management features help you record and analyze fuel and oil consumption and other vehicle operating costs. You can also record and analyze tire wear.
  • Task Shadowing lets you prevent the creation of duplicate work orders by shadowing them with other, more comprehensive work orders. When these comprehensive work orders are created and completed, they automatically reset the lesser work orders.
  • New Key Performance Indicators feature provides a snapshot of how assets are performing compared to user-defined benchmarks.
  • Checklists let you create a complete list of all items to be inspected or performed during the work order. If you wish, you can require maintenance technicians to sign the completed checklist; in addition, you can require approval signatures on checklists.
  • Seasonal Maintenance Feature lets you set the months during which certain tasks are performed, so mowing the lawn can automatically be scheduled only in spring and summer, while spreading salt on sidewalks is scheduled only during winter months.
  • Improved Inventory Tracking lets you choose Weighted Average, FIFO, or LIFO inventory costing methods, track part transaction history and costing, issue and receive parts more efficiently, and to determine the most efficient order quantity for inventory items.
  • Component Hierarchies Feature lets you set up and show the relationship between various pieces of equipment and their components (such as a truck and its engine) in a hierarchical tree view.
  • Improved Audit Trail is designed to help you meet record-keeping requirements of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and other quality system requirements.
  • Equipment Event Log this maintenance management software function lets you record events associated with a particular piece of equipment or vehicle such as violations, trips, and more.
  • Authorized Persons Tracking lets you keep tabs on who is authorized to use a piece of equipment, such as authorized drivers for a particular vehicle.
  • Improved Warranty Tracking lets you track multiple warranty records, lease payments, and other types of service contracts.
  • Improved Procedure Entry stores procedures in Rich Text Format (RTF) documents in your FaciliWorks database and lets you edit and format them as needed. You can also embed multimedia and other files in a procedure if needed.
  • Improved Attachments let you attach almost any file to Equipment, Part, and Procedure records.
  • New User Defined Tabs in Equipment Entry, Task Entry and Part Entry screens provide twenty user-defined fields for the storage of any additional information desired and set both the label text and the field type as well.
  • New Interface Options let you change text in virtually every interface element, including field names, Main Menu button names, form captions, form tabs, menu bars, pareto chart titles, and even alert messages.
  • New Fiscal Year Setting lets you set the month your Fiscal Year begins in.
  • Archive Service Requests as well as Work Orders and Purchase Orders.
  • Merge Utility lets you merge elements from different databases. If you wish to merge a single equipment record into another database, you can do so.
  • Dozens of New Reports and Graphs in addition to the many reports and graphs included in FaciliWorks V5
  • Streamlined Interface helps you use FaciliWorks V6 even more quickly and easily than before.
