FaciliWorks 8i has been re-written from the ground up using the latest .NET technology and is a 3-tier application. This gives FaciliWorks 8i greatly improved performance and scalability over previous versions of FaciliWorks and is a substantial technological upgrade. FaciliWorks 8i delivers innovation as well as expanding the breadth and depth of the CMMS solution. FaciliWorks 8i will be available in both Professional and Enterprise versions. FaciliWorks offers many new features designed to tailor the program to suit your needs exactly. Key new benefits include: New Technology Developed using the latest Microsoft Technologies: .NET web based front-end using MS SQL 2000 and higher for the backend database. Asset Entry - Grouping Asset grouping is used to separate assets into user-defined groups. These user-defined groups can be used to define viewable sets of Assets for each user. This feature limits Assets to those that a user will deal with, for example: to separate Assets by location. By limiting Assets to only users that should have access to them, security is improved as you won't have to worry about a user accidentally changing a record for an Asset for which they are not accountable. Executives and managers who need an overall view can still view information regarding all assets. Multitask Work Order Perform unscheduled work for multiple tasks on one Asset at a time. Perform unscheduled work on multiple Assets in one form. This is a more powerful Work Order platform. Normal Work Orders are still available. Route Preventative Maintenance Ability to set up Route PMs. Route Preventative Maintenance allows the ability to perform checks on a number of Assets at the same time. You can set the order that the Assets are to be done to minimize travel time or to set a priority order. Multitask PM Perform multiple PM tasks on one Asset at a time. Daily Asset Schedule Define the schedule for when an Asset is available for maintenance. View the detailed schedule for each Asset and add items such as calibration, cleaning, or unavailable. Monthly Asset Schedule Display an overview of monthly schedules for multiple assets at one time. Drill down to view a detailed schedule for a particular asset. Daily Staff Schedule Define the schedule for when an employee is available to perform maintenance. View the detailed schedule for each employee and add items such as meetings, time off, or unavailable. Monthly Staff Schedule Display an overview of monthly schedules for multiple employees at one time. Drill down to view a detailed schedule for a particular employee. Personal / Global Settings Global Settings are used so that every user has the same setup for easy portability. Personal settings are used so that each user can have customized settings for a more efficient application. Workflow Generate a customized Workflow for Work Orders, PMs, Service Requests, or Purchase Orders. A Workflow Step can be used to email employees, require Approval, or make a decision based on field values. Emails and Approvals can be based on the Requester, the Requester's supervisor, authorized users, Issued To user, Asset Grouping list, Work Order or PM Technician, Work Order or PM Labor employees, or a user defined list.
